Andrea, Could it be related to the variables? $main::localhost_alias_ipv4 @main::localhost_names I would try checking the values they contain, or you could test the script I wrote, set/update_ip.pl. Regarding the set/passphrase command, I seem to recall that it was related to BBSs, but I’m not completely sure. Dirk should be able to shed some light on it. What I do to test is ssh to my linux server from there I telnet to localhost port 7373 (in my case) I login into the cluster with the user I want to test I run set/password What I noticed is that if I telnet to the private ip (or public ip) the issue is not present.
